I just read the short article by Don Irving in Accuracy in Media’s
website.
“In an interview with New York magazine
discussing her life after the election, Hillary Clinton said that the eagerness
to pin her election loss solely on her is due to “schadenfreude.” 1
Do
you Believe that Claim?
Do you believe that she truly expects us who read
that article to believe that she’s being serious when she says those bogus
things?
If you take the Hillary Clinton rhetoric at face
value, then I question the thoroughness of your critical thinking skills.
The actor Morgan Freeman
very likely does not believe this and he admitted having voted for Hillary.
Hillary was a Poor Choice of a Nominee for the Democratic Party
Even though she won more than two hundred
electoral votes and overwhelmed Donald Trump in terms of popular votes, she was
a poor choice of a nominee for the Democratic Party.
Her Character, her Lack of Popularity, and her
Confrontational, Abrasive Personality
those Attributes, plus her strident speaking Style didn't Help
Her character was deemed too shady, too
dishonest, and too rotted for
her to have been allowed to succeed. Her haughty, unlikeable
personality compounded her bad political image. This article probes these
aspects as to the matter of her losing that election.
She was never anywhere as popular as was Bill
Clinton when he was a candidate. She lost because she was an overconfident,
arrogant politician.
She was a poor candidate because she simply
lacked the character to be a national leader. Moreover, she lacks the personal
qualities to inspire the voting mass to support her.
Also, she’s not deemed trustworthy and she’s
unlikeable. And then there is her background. She did a poor job as
Senator and she did a poorer job still as US Secretary of State during Obama’s
first term in office.
Her experience at work, particularly the Benghazi
scandal and her email scandal exposed her failures. She was not equipped to defeat Donald Trump in this last Presidential election.
She Failed to Take Responsibility for her Failures and Generalized Away
the Causes of that Failure
As for the reasons she cited for her loss are
concerned: James Comey’s letter, the Wikileaks leaks, and misogyny of the
people against her are concerned – there are not enough misogynists among the
voting American population to have denied her the Presidency.
There are liberal misogynists. Moreover, it's her
that most men dislike, not women. Now, if all women were her or like her,
then misogyny would be a more valid excuse.
But then, the misogynists would be right to loathe her. The misogynists would have been well justified to oppose her from coming anywhere to acquiring any political power as the administrator of the national government.
As for the Comey letter, the letter was not
enough to bury her. And the Wikileaks also could not have undermined her run.
In Conclusion then
As you can probably tell by now, she’s too proud
and too arrogant to admit to herself and to others that she did an extremely
poor job as the Presidential candidate. The
available space to provide a protracted discussion into this matter falls
short. Thus, this article’s purpose merely was to analyze and expose
Hillary Clinton’s rationalization for having lost the election to Donald Trump.
